Center for Community Partnerships at UVA
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4–6 PM at UVA's Contemplative Commons, the Center for Community Partnerships at UVA will host the fifth annual Starr Hill Pathways Student Expo, a community celebration of 80 Charlottesville and Albemarle County middle school students who participated in the Starr Hill Pathways Summer Camp this year.
This year’s Scholars explored 10 unique college and career pathways, gaining hands-on experience with community partners that included local organizations, businesses, and University of Virginia departments through immersive, real-world learning.
The Student Expo will include:
- Student-led presentations and interactive exhibits.
- Reflections on the two-week experience from each career pathway.
- Videos created by students in the Multimedia Pathway with Light House Studio, and the Performing Arts Pathway with Empowered Players.
