Kimberly Mugaisi
Community Safety Research Assistant
Kimberly Mugaisi is a Master of Public Health student at the University of Virginia, concentrating in Health Policy, Law, and Ethics. Her work sits at the intersection of public health policy, community partnerships, and health equity. She is particularly interested in how policy and community environments shape opportunities for children and families. Kim works closely with youth through the Reclaimed Hope Initiative and Charlottesville City Schools, supporting programs that center belonging, mentorship, and growth. Outside of her academic and community work, she enjoys running, thrifting, listening to podcasts, and trying new restaurants.
