DeVon Wade is a Community Partnerships Program Manager, where he will support the Starr Hill Pathways program as well as broader Center initiatives. DeVon holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Missouri Valley College and a master’s degree in education from Lindenwood University. He previously worked for UVA’s Division of Student Affairs as well as the newly launched Public Service Pathways program. Prior to his arrival in Charlottesville, DeVon worked as a Community Engagement Specialist for World Relief’s Sacramento, California field office. DeVon grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia as a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs fan, and currently lives in Charlottesville with his wife Abi.
